Leah M. Harter, M.A. Licensed Professional Counselor
Leah received a B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College in 1994 and a Masters in Counseling and Youth and Family Ministries from Denver Seminary in 1997.
Leah has been a private practice counselor since 1999 where she specializes in working with individual adults, and teens as well as families. Prior to this, she worked as a bereavement counselor for a hospice organization.
Leah works with a wide variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, anger and relationship problems, and women's issues. In addition, Leah has experience with issues specific to premarital couples using the PREPARE/ENRICH materials, families in ministry vocations and struggling teens.
She also conducts seminars on grief and loss, depression, self esteem, managing stress, and boundaries for both teen and adult audiences. She has over 15 years of experience working with teens and their parents as a counselor as well as a youth director and women's group leader and teacher in churches.
