Jeff Benson (M.Div, MAC)
Hello! Thanks for exploring working with me.Allow me to share a little of my background.
I am a native of Colorado, I’m married (over 25 years) and have 3 children.
I previously pastored a church for six years in western Colorado, before going on active duty as a Navy Chaplain for nine years. I deployed to Iraq twice. I am still active in the Navy Reserves. I finished my master’s degree in counseling in 2015 and have worked with incarcerated populations, and those recovering from addictions before joining the counseling team at Crossroads Counseling Associates.
I work with couples and adult individuals. I specialize in providing marriage counseling, pre-marital, and working with veterans and first responders. My pastoral experience helps me to bring a mature Christian faith to the process for those who choose to include that as part of their counseling experience.
My approach is to partner with you to bring about lasting change and wholeness by using a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques based on your needs and your goals. I am always happy to discuss this further and answer all your questions.
I seek to establish supportive, and transparent therapeutic relationships with my clients that let you be you and honestly engage with whatever you want to work on.
At this time, I do not accept insurance.
My fees are $80 for a 50 minute session. I accept cash, checks and credit cards.
I would love to connect with you and see if I would be a good fit for working with you. At this time I am seeing clients on Monday and Friday in the day, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6-8 PM).
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to request times or to set a time for an informational phone call.
